WHO WE ARE
The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Project (LAWTP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the education, support, promotion and production of live performance projects, that are of interest and benefit to women.

THE IMPORTANCE OF OUR ORGANIZATION
Although great strides have been made in other fields, women continue to face enormous employment discrimination in the arts and media. Statistically, 80% of the professionals working in theater in this country are men.  The LAWTP’s mission is to create opportunities for women in the Performing Arts.

HOW MANY RESOURCE DIRECTORIES WILL BE PRINTED & DISTRIBUTED?
3,000 directories will be distributed strategically throughout the year in LA County, from April 15, 2011, through December 31, 2011.
